Las Vegas McCarran’s Terminal-3 Set To Open

Terminal 3, opening in 2012, will be used for all international flights as well as scheduled airlines. The terminal will contain fourteen gates (E1-E12, E14-15), with the easternmost six gates being used for international flights. A people mover system will connect Terminal 3 to Concourse D. A $2.4 billion construction project at McCarran International Airport is stimulating the bottom lines of thousands of Clark County households and businesses using revenue generated through existing airport facilities, not local tax dollars. Visiting KLAS in Wintertime!

Joe and Jason came to Las Vegas for a fun filled four days last week. They were here for the Red Flag Exercise out at Nellis AFB. On the Sunday preceding the Tuesday media day we all met out at KLAS for an afternoon of civilian airliner spotting. Joe lent me the Canon 50D with the 300mm f/4 and I managed to get some good images with it. This is a quick preview of an Alaska 737 about to flair over 25L.
