Cactus Fly-In 2012

Last Friday and Saturday the Cactus Fly-In was held in Casa Grande (CGZ). One of two fly-ins in the area that that, the other being the monthlt Coolidge Fly-In, it was packed with fun and lots of airplanes. I was able to squeeze those two events and a visit to Sky Harbor all the same day (as well as the drive to and from Prescott), mainly to see how much I could handle and also for the variety.

The COPPERSTATE Fly-In—October 21-23, 2010

Since its first event in 1973, the COPPERSTATE Fly-In has been bringing together aviation enthusiasts in the southwest United States. The 2010 event, to be held in Casa Grande, Arizona, from Thursday, October 21 through Saturday, October 23 will be no exception.

Over 50 commercial exhibitors will showcase the latest aviation products. Over 350 aircraft, including more than 200 show-planes vying for awards, will be on display. The COPPERSTATE Fly-In is recreational aviation at its best—powered parachutes, ultralights, light sport, experimental, certified, classic, vintage and warbirds.
