Spotlight Photographer- Peter Van Dyke (October 2011)
I would like to announce Octobers Spotlight Photographer has been selected. Peter Van Dyke has been selected for the month of October. Peter has been a member of PHX Spotters since March 2011. His photos are top notch. And as usual always happy to help out our members when it comes to spotting locations and anything about commercial airlines. I get the pleasure of working with Peter at US Airways. Here is a little information about Peter Van Dyke
My name is Peter Van Dyke, I’m 22 years old living in Phoenix at the moment. I’ve had a longtime interest in anything transportation related, mostly photographing trains before moving over to aviation about four years ago. I currently work in fleet service for US Airways, which means I’m one of those guys down on the ramp loading up and pushing planes and staring back at you guys while you photograph from the garage. I’m also in my fifth year at ASU studying civil engineering, something I plan to be done with by the end of 2012.
