US Airways Training class of 2011
Over 1000 applicants all come together at US Airways Training Center located just West of Sky Harbor Airport. Information passed on to me was that US Airways has not hired any new employees for about 4 years. And after the face to face interview 26 out of 1000 applicants were selected for the next hiring process. Today was the last day of training and we all will report to work on Monday for our first day as official Ramp Agents. I would like to take time to thank all the Mentors/Trainers that helped me make the transition to US Airways ramp agent. So the next time you are flying out of Sky Harbor International Airport and are flying with US Airways take a look outside and you might see me, loading your luggage in the aircraft or refueling the water, and I might even be the wing walker marshalling your aircraft unto the taxiway. And even better I might even be in the driver seat of the tug pushing your aircraft in to position.

Way to go Canada. Screw up the picture!!!
Remember when you forgot to thank the guys who made it fun?
Just for reference, Canada is the nickname we gave to Manny who in the picture seem to be doing bird calls. The reason the name Canada was given to him was he kinda delayed a plane do to sending all their luggage to the wrong area. But with our runners we all got it to the passengers.
My congrats to Jason and the 25 other people who have gotten a job with USAIRWAYS, I hope to be apart of the next interview session next time.
